You will not say that you have latest Samsung Galaxy Smartphone (S4) after 24 February, 2014 (Samsung Electronics has not confirmed the release date and this date is almost certain) because Samsung is going to launched Samsung Galaxy S5 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona on 34 Feb, 2014.
The previous version that is Samsung Galaxy S4 is great Smartphone, but now all eyes on great Smartphone/. It expected that several upgrades and features in new Smartphone the Galaxy S5. Here are the main features we can expect from the new handset.
Camera Upgrade (A 16 Megapixel camera)
It is reported that the new Samsung Galaxy will have a 16MP rear and a 3.2MP front camera. However, the camera of the previous model (s4) is 13MP rear and 2MP front camera. This new and upgraded camera can shoot 4K video at 30fps and 1080 at 60fps.
Bigger than ever
If you think that Samsung Galaxy S4 is large, then you are going to be wrong as Galaxy S5 is expected to sport a 5.2 or 5.25-inch AMOLED display with HD screen size of 2560 x 1440. It is also expected that S5 is more sensitive than previous models.
Fingerprint scanner
This device is anticipated to have fingerprint sensor rather than Iris Scanner as speculated before. The sensor will be implemented into the device’s home button and not into the screen display. Anyone tries to swipe the key with a wet finger will supposedly result in an error message.
Android Kit Kat OS and Touch Wiz UI:
Samsung is expected to introduce the new Android v4.4 Kit Kat OS (operating system) in the Galaxy S5. This Smartphone is also expected to feature new Touch Wiz UI as well as will have a 3,200mAh battery in compare to 2,600mAh battery in Galaxy S4.
Enhanced durability:
It is expected that S5 will be dust and waterproof. Besides, the device will have 2.5 GHz Snapdragon805 (main) or 2.0GHz Octa-core Exynos6 (64-bit).
Lpddr4 Dram:
Samsung is anticipated to introduce the next-generation “LPDDR4 DRAM” in Samsung Galaxy S5. However, it has announced the advanced low-powered 20 NM based RAM earlier hinting that it could feature in the upcoming phones.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Price
It is clear that Galaxy S5 is going to cost little more as the Samsung Galaxy S4, so expect to pay around £600 SIM-free
Therefore, clearly Samsung wants to make the Galaxy S5 a clear improvement over the Galaxy S4, providing mobile users a reason to upgrade, while continuing to put the pressure on other competitors, including Apple.
